GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT

What is the Graduation Ceremony 2025 ?

The Graduation Ceremony 2025 is much more than just an event: it's an unforgettable celebration that marks the success of your studies at Grenoble Ecole de Management. 
On Saturday, March 8, 2025, we will have the honor of celebrating the graduates of the class of 2024 in a festive and convivial atmosphere, surrounded by your loved ones and the entire GEM community.
This exceptional day offers you a rich and diverse program:
  • distribution of your ceremony kit (graduation cap and sashes offered by the school) 
  • honoring of graduates
  • speeches by students and teachers
  • artistic performances by talented Ecole staff. 
To round off the celebrations, we'll be hosting a cocktail reception and taking official photos to immortalize this milestone in your life.

We look forward to sharing this unique experience with you!

Important note: Your official diplomas will not be handed out at the ceremony, to ensure their security. They will be available at a later date, either by post or direct collection, depending on your preference. You will shortly receive all the information you need to collect your diploma.

The graduation ceremonies and the cocktail reception will take place at the Palais des Sports Pierre Mendès France at 14 Boulevard Clémenceau, 38100 Grenoble.

There will be no rehearsals. Instructions and the precise schedule for the day will be sent to you by email and you can consult it.

The online registration platform will remain open from January 7 to February 19, 2025 6PM (CEST). You have received an invitation email from "Grenoble Ecole de Management " <notifications@eventmaker.io>", each invitation is nominative and therefore personal. This email contains a link to open your registration form. You can also register with your email @grenoble-em.com here.

It will be your job: the graduate has to register his or her guests. Each guest will receive a personalized ticket, so please enter an email address for each guest. If your guests don't have an email, you may enter your own email and receive your guests' tickets. Make sure to bring them (with their QR Code) the D Day along with your own ticket (with your QR code).

Registration is open from January 7 to February 19, 2025 6PM (CEST).

You will receive a confirmation email from notifications@eventmaker.io with your entry tickets and a QR code to present at the entrance. Make sure to check your mailbox spam folder.

Package #1 for your 3rd and 4th guests: €29 per person
Access to the Graduation ceremony & Cocktail

Each graduate can invite up to 4 guests.

Package #2 (free) : Access to online broadcast of graduation ceremonies - live streaming. Free of charge. Unlimited number of guests.

It is going to be a very cadenced day ! Depending on your programme, you will be invited to the morning or afternoon ceremonies. In the morning, you will be asked to arrive at 9:00 am so that we have time to welcome you and give you your graduate kit before the ceremonies begin at 10:30 am. In the afternoon, you will be invited from 4:00 p.m. for the ceremonies to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Whether you are graduating in the morning or the afternoon, the ceremonies will be followed by a cocktail party where you will be able to meet up with your graduating classmates and their loved ones and celebrate your success together. Finally, there will be plenty of entertainment to make the day unforgettable!


PRACTICAL INFORMATION/REGISTRATION

I'm a graduate of the class of 2024: how do I register for the Graduation Ceremony 2025?

Find the personalized email that will be sent to you or log in with your email @grenoble-em.com here as of January 7, 2025. Registration will be open until February 19, 2025. You can register your own guests by selecting the appropriate package for them.

Each graduate can invite a maximum of 4 guests (2 free tickets + 2 tickets with fees), indicating their full names and e-mail addresses when registering.

If you'd like to share your graduation ceremony with more guests, you can register them for the live streaming broadcast.

Visa applications vary according to the applicants’ nationalities and countries of residence. Check with the French Embassy or consular services in your place of residence. If you and/or your guests require a visa, you will need to apply for a Tourist - Short-stay visa. If you need to provide a letter of invitation, please contact your program coordinator or school administrator.

As a GEM current student, you will not be able to attend the graduation ceremonies because they are reserved for graduates. But be patient, your turn will come soon ! 

A personalized link will be sent to your e-mail address (FirstName.LastName@grenoble-em.com) when the platform opens: January 7, 2025. We recommend that you check your junk mail folder to make sure it hasn't slipped in. If you still can't find the e-mail, please write to us at graduation@grenoble-em.com, specifying the following details: First & last name, graduation year, student ID (if appropriate) & telephone number.

Children are welcome at the graduation ceremonies. Each ceremony lasts several hours and may seem long for younger children. If a baby is crying or a child is disrupting the ceremony, we reserve the right to ask you to step out into the hall for a moment so that the show can continue.
During the cocktail party, alcoholic beverages will be served to adults, while children will have a choice of non-alcoholic drinks.
All children must remain under the responsibility of the adults they accompany. We do not offer childcare.
If you come with a stroller, we regret that we cannot keep it in the checkroom.
Children up to the age of 14 (included) are admitted free of charge. From the age of 15, they count as an additional guest. From the 3rd guest onward, admission is charged. Infant under one year of age are not considered as guest (regarding the 4 guests max. rule) but you must register them for safety and security reason.

It will be possible to follow the event remotely on a live broadcast platform. Registration will be made directly via the Graduation Ceremony 2025 registration platform.

If you need to cancel your reservation or that of a guest, write to us at graduation@grenoble-em.com. In accordance with our Terms & Conditions of Registrations, except in cases of force majeure, we will unfortunately not be able to refund your ticket(s).

You will have to pay in one instalment when your registration is confirmed. However, you can return to your file to change a package or add guests BEFORE registration.

You can pay by credit card: Carte Bleue, Visa, Master Card and Maestro.

Programme Grande Ecole Graduates: As you may or can't all fit on stage, you will be called on stage in groups of up to 80 graduates. We therefore invite you to choose a color (PGE) with which you will go on stage. Contact your classmates to find out which group they've signed up for, so you can be with them on stage. Graduates of the Sportif de Haut Niveau program are invited to select the Yellow group.

Until the platform closes, on February 19, 2025, graduates will be able to change their registration and the registration of their guest(s), add or remove guests.
However, for any changes resulting in a refund, it is essential to send an email to graduation@grenoble-em.com.

ACCESS TO THE PALAIS DES SPORTS

How do I get to the Palais des Sports in Grenoble?

You can walk to the Palais des Sports, which is about 15-20 min from the Grenoble downtown. By public transportation, the most convenient is to ride on Bus 18 (Clémenceau Stop), Bus 12 (Madeleine Stop), or Bus C1, Tramway train C or E (Grenoble Hôtel de Ville Stop). To get here by cab, you can use Taxis Grenoblois (+33 4 76 54 42 54), Taxis de la Banlieue Grenobloise (+33 4 76 54 17 18) or Uber.

As the Palais des Sports is close to the city center and residential areas, there are plenty of AirBnb accommodations not far from the venue. See the list of hotels

The Palais des Sports itself doesn't have its own parking lots or garages, but there are plenty nearby. The two main ones are the Zenpark parking lot, to the south of the Palais des Sports, and the Q-Park Chavant parking lot, to the north of the Palais des Sports, towards the Stade des Alpes. These parking lots are not free.

The Palais des Sports has wheelchair access. Should you or your guests be coming in wheelchair or need a special accessibility equipment, please email us at graduation@grenoble-em.com so we can anticipate and welcome you with the excellence you deserve.

ON D DAY

Will I receive my diploma during the ceremony?

Diplomas will not be handed out at the ceremony. To ensure their security, they will be made available to you shortly by your program coordinator or school administrator, either by post or in person. You will receive all the necessary information concerning the method of collection directly from them, so that you can collect your diploma under the best possible conditions.

Arrival time at the Palais des Sports depends on the time of your graduation ceremony. It's advisable to arrive at least 1 hour before the start of the ceremonies so that you can put your belongings in the checkroom, receive your graduation kit and position yourself to make a spectacular entrance with the other graduates. Your guest(s) will then have time to settle into the best seats in the spectator stands. To avoid disrupting the ceremonies, we'll close the doors as soon as the ceremonies begin.

We ask you to come at least 1 hour before the ceremony starts to give yourself time to get through reinforced security, receive your ceremony kit and position yourself to make a spectacular entrance with the rest of your graduating class. Your guest(s) will then have time to settle into the best seats in the spectator stands. To avoid disrupting the ceremonies, we'll close the doors as soon as they start.

You are free to dress as you wish. We advise you to choose clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable in. Don't forget that you'll be appearing on stage and will probably want to have your photo taken. We'll let anyone in who is decently dressed. Traditional dress is also welcome. We do not provide or recommend uniforms. Graduates will receive their ceremony kit upon their arrival.

Yes, on D-day you will be directed by our staff to secure cloakroom where you can leave your personal belongings. Please note that we will unfortunately not be able to accept bulky or precious items: suitcases, sports bags, handbags, strollers etc.

On the day of the ceremony, please bring your invitation with you so that we can scan your QR code. It will be sent to you by e-mail once your registration has been validated. You can present it on paper or on your mobile phone. Your guests will each have a personal QR code, so remember to give it to them or print it out if they don't have a phone or if their QR code has been sent to your email.

No uninvited guests will be admitted. A differentiated check-in for graduates and guests will be set up to facilitate the flow and access to the hall for all. 

For security reasons, we will not be able to accept suitcases or bags of any kind (travel bags, sports bags, handbags etc.). There will be no lockers.

Check your junk mail box for your ticket. If you can't find it, write to us at graduation@grenoble-em.com, stating your first & last name, graduation year & telephone number. Thank you.

On the day of the event, there are no restrictions on digital cameras, however professional photographers will be here to ensure quality pictures.

During cocktails, you'll be able to buy drinks in addition to those offered to you. You can pay for your drinks by credit or debit card only: “Carte Bleue”, Master Card or Visa.
